About Us

She Is Safe is a nonprofit organization based in Chautauqua County, dedicated to providing support and resources to women escaping abusive situations. Founded by Rebecca Magnuson, the initiative is deeply rooted in her personal experiences and passion for empowering women to reclaim their lives. She Is Safe is committed to being a lifeline for those who need it most, offering emergency assistance, essential supplies, and compassionate support to women and struggling mothers who otherwise couldn’t afford help.  

 

While our ultimate goal is to build a safe house in Chautauqua County, we are already making an impact by addressing urgent needs. Whether it’s providing diapers and clothing for a mother in crisis, connecting women with community resources, or simply offering a listening ear, She Is Safe is here to ensure that no woman feels alone in her journey.  

 

She Is Safe is more than a program—it’s a movement to create a safer, more supportive world for women. The initiative aligns with Rebecca Magnuson’s broader mission of advocating for survivors and raising awareness through projects like She Sings®: Surviving the Narcissist, a TV series, and She Sings® A Soaring Musical that sheds light on the struggles and resilience of women overcoming abuse. Proceeds from these projects directly support She Is Safe and its mission.
